Get your AI-built project over the line

Built an app or website with AI tools and it's nearly there? I provide technical consultancy and development to review, fix, secure and launch AI-generated projects — so they're ready for real users.

Sound familiar?

AI got you 80% of the way. The last 20% needs a developer.

AI coding assistants and app builders are fantastic for getting an idea working quickly. But they can struggle with the hard parts: reliability, security, scale and the bugs that go round in circles.

I help with projects built using tools like

  • ChatGPT
  • Claude
  • Cursor
  • GitHub Copilot
  • Lovable
  • Bolt
  • Replit
  • v0
  • Windsurf
  • It works on your machine but won't deploy, or breaks once it's live.
  • A bug the AI keeps “fixing” without ever actually fixing.
  • You're not sure it's secure — API keys, logins, payments or customer data.
  • It slows down or falls over as soon as real users and real data arrive.
  • The code has grown into something nobody fully understands.
  • You need a new feature, integration or payment provider added properly.

How I help

From “nearly working” to launched

Take just the consultancy, or let me take the project all the way to production. You're in control of the scope and budget.

  1. Review & advise

A clear, jargon-free code and architecture review. You get a prioritised list of what's solid, what's risky and what it will take to launch.

  2. Fix & finish

Hands-on development to fix bugs, tidy the codebase, connect databases and APIs, and build the features that are still missing.

  3. Secure & launch

Security hardening, authentication, secrets management, performance checks, then deployment to reliable hosting with SSL and backups.

  4. Support & grow

Ongoing maintenance and development once you're live — or a handover so your own team can take it forward with confidence.

Why me

Over ten years of real-world software experience

I've spent more than a decade building and supporting production software — booking systems with online payments, cloud CRM and lead management platforms, and web applications for businesses and public service projects. That experience is exactly what AI-generated code tends to be missing.

I'll explain what I find in plain English, fix things properly rather than papering over them, and leave you with a codebase you — or the next developer — can build on.

FAQs

Common questions

Will you judge me for using AI to build it?

Not at all. AI tools are a brilliant way to get an idea off the ground quickly, and I use them myself. My job is to add the experience needed to make the result reliable, secure and maintainable.

What languages and frameworks can you work with?

Most AI-generated web projects use JavaScript or TypeScript with React, Next.js or Vue, often with Node.js, Supabase, Firebase or a SQL database behind them. I also work with PHP and Laravel, C# .NET and more — see my stack. View my stack

Should I fix what I have or start again?

Usually it's quicker and cheaper to keep what works and fix what doesn't. The initial review will tell you honestly which option makes sense for your project.

Can you just advise, so I carry on building myself?

Yes. Technical consultancy is available on its own, whether that's a one-off review, a regular check-in, or help planning the architecture before you prompt your way through the next feature.

Do you work with clients outside Hampshire?

Yes. I'm based in Hampshire and work with clients across the UK, remotely or on site.

Stuck on an AI-built project?

Tell me what you've built and where it's stuck. I'll give you an honest view of the quickest route to launch.
